    SIZE MATTERS.

The larger the bowl is the more it is worth.

Also the brighter the colours are, the more it is worth.

    a 6 inch diameter bowl £30 to £50 an 18inch well over £100

in a bright metallic colours 3 or even 4 times the price of the pale colours.

not very collectible in the Southport area.

    good luck

Thanks appreciate that. Are you able to give me any ideas on the other stuff I've posted please?

As I say, I hope I will be able to meet up with you at a mutually convenient time to consider silverware and paintings, prints, etc. I've just added a cheeky little extra - signed by (I think) Hall Narper???

    Valuation please?

Hi, I bought these two items from a car boot today. The lady I bought them from said they were Chinese and from early 1900's. One is a teething rattle and one is a little perfume container. Thanks!

difficult to tell by looking at your photo what they are and what country they come from.

doubt early 1900 and Chinese for the teddy bear.

    good luck

    The Harleston

Hi there, I have an old cast iron cooker and am wondering if it's worth anything. It has the words 'The Harleston' on the facia. It was made by Moorwoods of Sheffield. It has a patent number of GB409281 from 1934. It is in fair condition, just needs cleaning up really. I've searched the internet for another example of this cooker but can only find one on ebay, which is in poor condition and is in pieces. I'm not sure if there are many, if any, others 'out there' and was wondering if you know anything about it?
    Many thanks,
    Gav.

    Hi,
You might find an interier designer who may have a client that could use it.

Sand blasted and blackened it would take on a different look.

Look great in the grate of a cottage.

In that condition I could see it selling for no more than £50, but who knows how much some one would pay with the name 'Harleston' or ' Moorwoods' and looking to rebuild a cottage.

Remember opinions are only an opinion.

    Good luck
    John

    Help!

I got these 2 statues off my Mum. She remembers little about them, only that we have had them for years. I would appreciate any information you can give me, as I have no idea where to start. Thanks.

Hi, the little tiny bubbles you can see on the figures indicates they are resin, not ivory. Ivory items can be sold legitemetly if before 1947.

This pair of figures are reproductions and have been tea stained to give the impresion of being old or antique.

In a charity shop or carboot sale, I woould imiging £20 to £30

    good luck

    Chinese bronze vessel

    Hi
Please help to estimate a price of this ancient Chinese bronze vessel.
According to the Seal scripts it looks like from Zhou Period (1045-771 BC)

    Best Regards
    Dan

    Poole Pottery

Collectable, but prices have dropped back in recent years,

Depending on the diameter between £20 to £50

    Good Luck.
