Merseyside Police is becoming increasingly concerned for the whereabouts of Georgiana Olteanu and officers have issued a new image of her in their continued efforts to locate Georgiana, who has been missing since 18 March.

Georgiana Olteanu 3 Merseyside Police has issued an image of a taxi as detectives appeal directly to the driver for help in tracing a 30-year-old Romanian woman who went missing from her home in Liverpool last month.

Georgiana Olteanu, aged 30, was last seen on Saturday, 18 March at approximately 11pm at Aintree Hospital. She was subsequently reported missing on 11 April by relatives and detectives have been making extensive enquiries to find her ever since.

Detective Inspector Phil Mahon said: "This person is not in any trouble, but we believe they may have information that could help us locate Georgiana.

"If you are the taxi driver in the silver or light grey Hackney cab pictured, which we know gave Georgiana a lift at about 11pm on Saturday, 18 March, we would like you to contact Merseyside Police. Any information you have about where Georgiana was dropped off or what she may have said in the vehicle could prove vital to our efforts to find her."

Detectives would urge Georgiana, the taxi driver or anyone who knows of her whereabouts to call Merseyside Police on 101 or the charity Missing People on 116 000 or email 116000@missingpeople.org.uk
