A drink driver has been arrested this afternoon after members of the public spotted him weaving all over the road whilst drinking from a can with two kids in the car.

A spokesperson for Mersryside Police commented....

We assisted in a pre emptive stop of a suspected drink driver after reports from the public stating driver drinking can of alcohol and weaving over the road. Driver has his two toddlers on board. Provided a breath test which showed as fail.
