Shopping centre is putting on a jam-packed weekend of fun free activities for the kids.

Popular shopping outlet Freeport Fleetwood is embracing the Easter school holidays in their signature fun-filled fashion by putting on a spectacular array of exciting free activities for the kids. Visitors can experience a variety of hands on excitement from Friday 15th to Monday 18th April, 11am ‘til 3pm.

Working in partnership with Glazey Days, a Fleetwood-based pottery and painting studio, craft activities will be taking centre stage throughout the weekend. Little ones can get their hands dirty by making foam clay bisque pots, patchwork wall hangings and personalized square tiles. They’ll also get the chance to let their imaginations run wild by having a go at painting a car in the middle of the centre. All activities are completely free but customers are asked to make a £1 donation to Freeport Fleetwood’s charity partner Trinity Hospice if they’d like their baby Banksys to have a go painting the car.

Helen Taylor, owner at Glazey Days, said: “We are thrilled to be hosting the Easter themed activities at Freeport Fleetwood this weekend, the crafts we have lined up are brilliant fun for children and will provide a great respite between shops.”

Speaking about the scheduled events, Centre Manager, John Magee said: “Glazey Days is a great local business in the community and we’re pleased to be working with them to create a fun-filled weekend for the family. If you’re struggling to think of activities to do over the holidays, we’ve got you covered; from making pots to painting tiles and even painting a real car, there’s something for all the children. In fact I suspect there’ll be a few adults looking on enviously!”

All donations made over the weekend will go to Freeport Fleetwood’s 2016 charity partner, Trinity Hospice. Activities will run from Friday 15th to Monday 18th April, 11am ‘til 3pm
