Police are trying to trace a wanted Blackpool man who failed to attend his trial as a jury was deliberating in Preston.

Gary Holding, 57, was supposed to go to Sessions House last Friday (July 7th) where he had been on trial but failed to turn up. A bench warrant has subsequently been issued.

Aside from Blackpool, Holding is known to have links to the Lytham St Annes area.

Sgt Andy Lawless from Blackpool Police said: “On the day that Holding failed to go to court the jury were in deliberations, however, he had been attending for the previous days of his trial.

“We need anyone who may have seen Gary Holding or knows of his whereabouts to get in touch with us as soon as possible.

Similarly, I would urge Holding himself if he sees this appeal to attend the nearest police station before he makes matters worse for himself.”

Gary Holding is described as white with short dark brown hair and blue eyes.
