A woman from Blackpool has been charged as part of a crackdown om human trafficking and modern slavery.

27-year-old Andra Amzulin of Station Road was one of eight people arrested earlier this week in a series of raids at addresses across Lancashire.

She's due in court this morning charged with conspiring to traffic for sexual exploitation and conspiring to incite prostitution for gain.

The charges follow a long running proactive investigation led by Lancashire Constabulary’s human trafficking and modern slavery team Op Proteus, a dedicated team working to identify both the victims and perpetrators of trafficking and slavery across Lancashire.
