Police are appealing fro information following a collision in Blackpool.

The incident happened yesterday (23.7.17.) at around 10am as the injured party was walking to work along Whitegate Drive, in the direction of the Belle Vue.



When close to the junction with Gorse Road, the driver of a red, family sized car heading towards Preston New Road got out whilst the vehicle was still in motion causing it to swerve, mount the kerb and collide with the victim.

The victim was not badly injured but very shaken up.

The driver walked off down Gorse Road and the passenger of the car got into the driver's seat and drove off along Whitegate Drive.

The driver is described as aged late 40's, male, white skin, about 5'6" in height, skinny build, bald head and was wearing a black t-shirt and blue jeans.
