The US, UK and France have carried out air and missile strikes in Syria in retaliation for a suspected chemical weapons attack last Saturday
US President Donald Trump said they hit “targets associated with the chemical weapons capabilities” of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad
Loud explosions were heard in the capital, Damascus, and the city of Homs
The Syrian government, which denies using chemical weapons, called the strikes a flagrant violation of international law
The government’s key ally, Russia, warned there would be consequences

There is no proof of any gas being used again! Every time Assad makes headway against the terrorists the USA scream unlawful chemical weapons!! Has made me think again about the British Government - the UK is a peace loving country, isn't it?

I don't think you needed to "think again" about the British Government. I suspect that your mind was fully made up long before this incident.
