http://www.valuemystuff.com/how-it-works

Why pay FROM nearly £4 per item to have it valued when here on SGB we do it free
and from any leading auction house a valuation is free,

Briana, I think you will find that this site has gained posters in the long run with your presence on here. So congratulations! If I am wrong in thinking this - I have enjoyed reading through all posts posted by you. This is a learning experience for both of us, which I am just going to take the time to say thank you to Vanny for!
On another note. Vanny, what have you done with those pictures, just by way of interest. Maybe you could invest in some 17th Century old masters for me. I am sure that is wishful thinking.

MY REPLY
Hi, as you know the item you have sent a photograph of is not an antique.
but IF it is an original Barry Macey water colour then it worth a quite a
bit of money. By the way your picture is very large on my screen.
Barry Macey was an in-house artist with Paddington & Co. Ltd. for a number
of years and did the artwork for quite a number of the older products and
some of the prints. He also illustrated "Paddington on Screen", a
compilation of stories from the Blue Peter annuals.
My advice is to take it to one of the major auction houses to verify the
item is not a print.
Unfortunately the art market is a funny world. in 2005 3 pictures similar
to yours came up for auction and none of the sold.

There is a drawing advertised in artbol.nl
€ 3.150,37. This item I think may be over priced

hi,
Even though your picture is of the most famous person that has ever lived, I am sorry to say it has very little value.
But can I say, if the human race viewed the values of the person in the picture, your picture would be priceless.
good luck
John
