    Missing: Long haired tabby cat.

Scaredy has been missing since Friday 2 September. He is a Maine Coone cat and has the characteristic bushy tail and big paws. He is a ig cat, but is very nervous of other people, loud noises, well, pretty much anything! he lives up to his name.
He always comes home at night, and it's very unusual for him to not come home.
He went missing from Sandbrook Road in Ainsdale. Leaflets have been posted, and I've checked with the local vets and also the microchipping people.
He is chipped, and was wearing a black collar with a small grey 'mouse' magnet attached. If anyone has seen him, or knows of his whereabouts; PLEASE contact me. He is greatly missed; and not knowing where he is is breaking my heart. If you have a shed or a garage, please check to make sure he hasn't been inadvertantly locked in.

    Long-haired tabby cat

Hello, sorry to hear about your missing cat and I should say straight away that, unfortunately, I don't have any information about him. However, earlier this year we adopted a stray long-haired female tabby which does have some Maine Coone characteristics and we need to re-home her. She plays "fetch" with her toy mouse, she is very vociferous and affectionate (hates being alone), grabs things from the air, likes playing with water, etc., but she bullies our other cat. Also, we have a couple of bantams and she has tried to attack them, so we can't let her outside. She is about 2 years old and when we took her in, we immediately had her spayed, chipped and vaccinated. Her name is Diy (pronounced "Die") because we found her at B&Q (Aintree). There she was, in the middle of the store, lapping up the attention from the shoppers, but the staff told us the manager wouldn't let them feed her. If you're interested, I could e-mail you some photos of her (contact me at nrbemand@msn.com) or you'd be welcome to come and see her; we're only down the road in Birkdale.
    Best regards, Nigel. Tel: 569616.
