CCTV appeal after Fleetwood assault.

Police are appealing for information following an assault in Fleetwood which left a man with a broken jaw.



Around 5am on February 11, a 33-year-old man was punched twice in London Street close to Rafters nightclub.

The victim suffered two jaw fractures and was taken to Blackpool Victoria Hospital for treatment. He later required further treatment at Royal Preston Hospital.

Following enquiries, police would like to speak to this man, pictured, in connection with their investigation.

PC Andrew Blakeney, of Fleetwood Police, said: “We are appealing for information after a man was attacked outside a nightclub in Fleetwood.

“The victim was left with a badly broken jaw which required medical treatment.

“Despite conducting a number of enquiries at the time of the offence, we have yet to trace his attacker.

“After a review of CCTV footage, we would like to speak to this man in connection with the assault. We believe he could be eastern European, possibly even a fisherman.

“If you recognise this man and know who he is, please contact us immediately.”
