National Dying Matters week starts on May 8 and people on the Fylde coast can get advice and information on death, dying and bereavement from a range of experts along the coast.
Blackpool Victoria Hospital will have a stand with representatives from the End of Life and Palliative Care Team from 11am on Monday, March 8, Wednesday, March 10 and and Thursday, March 11.
Trinity Hospice nurses will have a stall at Freeport in Fleetwood from 11am on Tuesday May 9 and there will be an information display at Stanah Café in Stanah Country Park on the same day.
The Dying Matters information stall will be at Clifton Hospital near St Annes on Wednesday, May 10 and at Trinity Hospice’s main reception on Thursday May 11.
Local mental health centres are also joining in with this national campaign to get people thinking about death, dying and bereavement – and talking about their wishes with their loved ones.
No appointments are needed – just go along to chat and pick up some information.
