Fleetwood Town return to Highbury on Saturday as they face Sky Bet League One rivals Rochdale (3pm k/o).

Keith Hill’s side sit just one place outside the play off positions in the league, whilst Uwe Rosler’s side have put together a club record unbeaten run of 13 games to sit fourth in the standings.

LAST TIME OUT

Amari’i Bell’s 94th minute equaliser rescued a point for Town away at Charlton Athletic last Saturday. Ricky Holmes had opened the scoring in South London, but Bell’s late strike from Kyle Dempsey’s corner extended the Cod Army’s unbeaten run.

David Ball almost won it for Rosler’s side in the 99th minute, when he curled an effort from the edge of the box off the post. Still, a good point nether-the-less against a strong Addicks side.
Rochdale dropped out of the play off positions after a goalless draw with Bristol Rovers at Crown Oil Arena.

Chances were few and far between as two of the league’s play off candidates cancelled each other on a tricky playing surface at Spotland. Dale gave a debut to Ben Wilson who kept a clean sheet between the sticks.

PREVIOUS MEETING

Both sides last met at Crown Oil Arena in September, where the home side came out on top 2-1 thanks to goals from Matty Lund and Steven Davies.

Bobby Grant had equalised from the penalty spot after Chris Long was brought down, with Long Town’s main threat all afternoon. The win was to start a fantastic rise up the league for Keith Hill’s side who moved off the foot of the table win the three points.
