Wyre businesses are invited to celebrate their recent successes at the 2017 Wyre Business Awards. This year’s event will be held at Marine Hall in Fleetwood on 30 November.

Nominations are invited for fifteen different awards that recognise all types and sizes of businesses. The closing date for nominations is 27 October.

There are new award categories this year to recognise rural businesses and market traders, alongside the regular categories for different sized businesses, new businesses, tourism sector and employer of the year.

For a full list of award categories and to make nominations visit www.wyre.gov.uk/wyreawards. Businesses can nominate themselves in up to three categories.

“I encourage all Wyre businesses to enter for an award and celebrate their business successes in 2017. We have a healthy business economy in Wyre covering all types and sizes of businesses and we organise the Wyre Business Awards evening to celebrate this. We encourage businesses to join in the celebration by entering an award and coming along and enjoying a great evening event” said Councillor Peter Murphy Planning and Economic Development portfolio holder at Wyre Council.

The event will be a glamourous black tie dinner with tickets available from Marine Hall priced at £35 or £300 for a table of 10.

There are a limited number of sponsorship package opportunities available from £75 to £800 offering the opportunity of inclusion in publicity to the Wyre business community before, during and after the event.
