Thornton Little Theatre is hosting a unique tribute to the sounds of the Shadows, as Into The Shadows return to the venue on Saturday 13 May.



Come along and enjoy authentic recreations of the The Shadows famous hits including Wonderful Land, Guitar Tango, Frightened City, Dance On, FBI, Atlantis, Man of Mystery and of course their first number one hit Apache, still recognized as one of the most iconic records of all time.

In this year's show, there are many new numbers, including Let Me Be the One, the UK entry performed by The Shadows at the 1975 Eurovision Song Contest, and Don't Cry for Me Argentina.

Lead guitarist Rob Fellows recreates the unique Hank Marvin sound so well you will think you are hearing the real thing while fellow guitarist John's Haden confident rhythm style compliments Rob's lead, together with his Cliff Richard songs. Bass guitar maestro Mike Steed matches his stylish playing with an ever present smile and a sharp ear and Colin Evans bring years of experience as a top drummer, seeking perfection in his style of playing. His attention to detail and total professionalism always shine out.

Speaking of the gig, John Haden comments, “We are so looking forward to returning to play at Thornton Little Theatre. It really is a hidden gem amongst theatres! Into the Shadows played for the first time in 2016 at Thornton and what a night we had. It was a virtual sell out and the audience were so responsive and appreciative. We can’t wait to return.”
