Merseyside Police is appealing for help in tracing a 24 year-old man who detectives believe could assist with an ongoing investigation into thefts and a robbery at jewellery stores in Merseyside.



At 12 noon on 15th April 2107 a male entered the H Samuels store on South John Street in Liverpool city centre. He asked to look at engagement rings before stealing a white gold diamond ring and a diamond ring.

At 10.30am on 29th April 2017 a male entered the Ernest Jones store on Lord Street in Southport and stole a white gold engagement ring set with sapphire stones.

At 10.30am on 5th May 2017 a male entered H Samuels in Le Grange Arcade in St Helens and grabbed two Forever diamond rings.

Detectives would like to speak to 24 year-old Lewis Ormesher as they believe he may have information which could help with their enquiries.

Ormesher, who is no fixed abode, is described as white, 5ft 7tall, of medium build with dark brown hair and brown eyes.
