Some of the most beautiful cars entered into the Ormskirk MotorFest on Sunday 27 August will compete in a really special contest at the fantastic free motoring extravaganza.

The Concours d’Elegance competition will be a major attraction at the MotorFest for the third successive year. This will see some truly wonderful vehicles line up for expert judges to cast their eye over them.

MotorFest organisers are looking for more vehicles to take part, cars particularly from 1957 as part of the celebrations for the 60th Anniversary of the British Grand Prix held at Aintree.

Best in show gets the fantastic Brian Brady Trophy with class winners receiving super Solid Crystal Trophies. All entrants will receive special “Rally Plates” and a goodies bag. The 13 classes in the Concours d’Elegance will include sections for supercars, saloon cars from between 1966 and 1990 and classes for pre-second world war cars and motorcycles.

Halsall-based Carequick Ltd Air Conditioning, which specialises in building services, air conditioning and mechanical maintenance, are sponsoring the Concours de Elegance for the third successive year.

Ormskirk MotorFest is organised by Aintree Circuit Club and supported by West Lancashire Borough Council.

Cars and motorcycles not taking part in the Concours d’Elegance will also be lined up in Coronation Park and streets across Ormskirk town centre. About 300 fabulous cars and motorcycles from all eras of motoring will be in display and many of them will take part in exciting parade laps around the town centre.
