Free advice for carers at Aintree University Hospital event

Aintree University Hospital is holding a free public health information event called Focus on Support for Carers on Wednesday 20 July from 1pm – 4pm in the Clinical Science Centre at the hospital.

A range of partner organisations and Aintree teams will be on hand to provide information on services and support available for those caring for a loved one in a marketplace event from 1.00pm then give presentations on services from 2.00pm – 4.00pm.

Organisations attending the event include Sefton Carers' Centre, Knowsley Carers’ Centre, Alzheimer’s Society, Stroke Association, and Macmillan Cancer Support as well as Aintree’s Palliative Care, Audiology, Dementia, and Patient Experience teams.

There will also be the opportunity to meet Aintree’s Public Governors and let them know your views on hospital services.

‘Focus on’ events aim to give an overview of common medical conditions and the services and support provided at Aintree in a friendly and accessible way. They are open to everyone including patients, families and carers, students, staff and anyone with an interest. Everyone is welcome.
