• Assisting with Safe and Well health visits and community reassurance campaigns.
• Delivery of safety presentations in primary and secondary schools including seasonal presentations i.e. firework safety around Bonfire Night and grass fire prevention in summer months.
• Participation in leaflet drops and providing safety information.
• Signposting members of the community to partner agencies.

We are looking for people who:

• Are reliable.
• Can contribute a few hours a week.
• Love a challenge.

• Satisfaction of knowing you have helped keep communities across Merseyside safe.
• Key training for the role.
• Evidence for your CV.
• The chance to meet like-minded people.
• Improved communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reimbursement of travel expenses.

As a volunteer you will be paired with another volunteer. You will receive a full induction and training. You will be given a uniform and will have access to MFRS non-operational vehicles to transport you to the various events.

You will be expected to attend events across Merseyside, however you will be based at Bridle Road, Bootle.
