VICTIMS of road traffic collisions will be remembered at a special service in November.

Lancashire County Council's chairman would like to invite anyone to come who has been affected by loss or injury following a road traffic collision.

The multi-faith service, to be attended by representatives from the police, fire and ambulance services, will be held from 11.30am to 12.30pm on Sunday 20 November 2016 at the chapel in Christ Church Precinct, County Hall, Fishergate, Preston, PR1 8RL.

The World Day of Remembrance Service was started in 1993 by UK-based charity RoadPeace. This service is one of thousands being held across the globe to support the families and friends of people killed on the roads, and honours the work of the emergency services. RoadPeace is dedicated to supporting people bereaved and injured in road traffic collisions.

If you would like to attend the service and receive details about directions and free parking please email safertravelteam@lancashire.gov.uk.
