Qlocal was invited to the opening night of "The Bodyguard" at the Liverpool Empire last night and with three-time Brit nominee and X-Factor winner, Alexandra Burke playing the leading role, the theatre adaptation was gearing up to be something special.

The show started with a bang - literally with a gun shot, which startled most of us in the audience - and finished with a spectacular finale with Burke raised above stage to sing her final song.

Other hits included, Queen of the Night, So Emotional, One Moment in Time, Saving All My Love, I’m Your Baby Tonight, Run to You, I Have Nothing, I Wanna Dance with Somebody and one of the biggest selling songs of all time – I Will Always Love You.
