It’s known as Burscough’s 'Hotel of Happiness' - and it was all smiles last Thursday when Arranmore Lodge held a very successful cup cake day.
The event was organised to promote awareness of dementia, and was attended by deputy mayor Noel Delaney and the deputy mayoress, owners Mr and Mrs F.L Robson, Beverley Peters, manager, Michelle Baughan, team leader and all senior and care staff.
Carol Blakeston, head cook, provided the home made cup cakes, and during the morning one of the lady residents entertained guests on the organ.
The morning ended as the deputy mayor and mayoress joined the owners to enjoy lunch with the residents.
