Ormskirk’s Currency matters got fundraising down to a tee with a very successful golf day at Hurlston Hall on Thursday.
The Burscough Street firm hosted the charity game and a fabulous gala evening to raise funds for Variety, the children’s charity, and celebrate Currency Matters 15th anniversary.
A host of soccer stars past and present played in glorious weather and included Steve McMahon, Roy Evans, Joe Royle, Ronnie Whelan, Derek Mountfield, Phil Neal, Alan Kennedy, Leon Osman, Callum Smith, Liam Smith, Nick Chadwick and Steve Warnock.
Evening entertainment came from comedian Jamie Sutherland and soul singer Steve Charles, helping raise an amazing £10,000 for Variety.
