At the monthly meeting of Aughton WI, Lathom Park Trust Trustee Dot Broady-Hawkes debuted a new slideshow presentation on the history of the Bootle-Wilbraham family of Lathom House 1725-1925.

It was well received and over 40 members enjoyed hearing about the various generation of the family from MPs to the Lord Chamberlain; the connections the family had to such personalities as Jackie Kennedy, Richard Dawkins and past Prime Ministers was explained and added interest to the history.
