This is the dramatic aftermath of a two car crash in Ormskirk yesterday lunchtime.
A Ford Fiesta overturned near the junction of County Road and Green Lane at around 12.55 after it was hit by a Citroen C3. Police said there were only minor injuries in the incident.
The busy A59 was closed for over an hour with a minor diversion via the slip road off County Road; cue an HGV 'spinning' the one way sign at the end of Yew Tree Road round as he drove off.
Meanwhile, one seasoned local thinks cameras should be installed at the lights after several near misses.
