Ormskirk Chess club are holding a taster session for anyone to attend this coming Saturday morning from 10:30 -12:00 in the Chapel Gallery.
They're part of Chapel Gallery’s “Try Something New” free activity programmehttp://www.chapelgallery.org.uk/pdfs/index/TrySomethingNew.pdf
and you could learn to play chess, refresh some hidden chess skills of your past or even join the Ormskirk club as an active chess player. It meets every Monday evening at Aughton Institute on Bold Lane, Aughton from 7:30pm - all ages and abilities are very welcome with the prospering junior section having fun games between 7:30 – 9:30pm.
