Divine Days Community Arts CIC are teaming up with Ormskirk Park Rangers for the third year running to organise this years Community Dance Festival.

Said Katie Whitehead, founder and director: “It’s bigger than ever this year and we are showcasing a wide range of performance troupes and are so excited!

"It is one of our highlights and although an awful lot of hard work and planning goes in to the event we love seeing it come together and bringing the whole community to take part in the festival.

"What's so great is that there is something for everyone as we have the fair, donkey rides, food, craft stalls and this year 'Dance With The Dancers'.

"We are also having workshops for the children to take part and learn some of the moves run by some of the choreographers!

"The talent is so high this year we have groups performing from across the borough we have the wonderful Dream Makers and Base Dance who have been with us from the Start and this year we also have the AMAZING Conway Girls, Attitude Dance, Learning Starts, Moon Flower, Lucy’s Contemporary Tap and of course the AWESOME Divine Dance who will be launching their new performance piece.

"Divine Dance is our flagship Dance troop and we are on the lookout for new members. Divine Dance is a Contemporary Dance Troop for over sixteens with additional needs."
