The Rt Reverend Paul Bayes, Bishop of Liverpool will be at Ormskirk Parish Church’s annual Toy Service on Sunday 11th December.
The Bishop will be preaching at the family friendly service where toys are collected and donated to families in need across the region. All our welcome to the service which will start at 10:30am and are part of the parish’s annual events in the run up to Christmas.
Bishop Paul visited the town in the run up to his installation as 8th Bishop of Liverpool two years ago when he toured Edge Hill University and dropped in on Ormskirk West End Juniors football club.
Rev Stuart Haynes from the Parish Church told QLocal: "We’re looking forward to the Bishop’s visit and are delighted that he can come for our toy service.
"One of the big differences we can make as Christians is showing others the joy that the Christmas message offers. Our toy service enables us to bring that joy to others. Bishop Paul spreads a message of joy to all he meets and it is great we can share Sunday’s service with him”
All our welcome to the service which begins at 10:30am
