The Prince’s Trust Ormskirk Team 16 have successfully completed their final challenge of its 12 week programme!
It included a team building residential trip held at Rock and River in Mawdesley, a community project where the team cleared a path through a wooded area of Coronation Park and created a Fairy Door Trail and wildlife habitats, a personalised work placement, CV building and interview workshops and a team challenge at Stocks Hall Residential Care Home.
And the final challenge was the most nerveracking of the lot .... to meet deputy Mayor Noel Delaney before delivering a presentation generously hosted by West Lancashire Borough Council.
The four team members - Machaela Irving, Thomas MacDonald, Steven Procter and Aaron Long - have successfully gained qualifications in Employment, Teamwork and Community Skills and are looking forward to newly sourced progression paths in further education and employment.
Interested in taking up the Team Challenge? The PT is currently recruiting for the next team starting Tuesday 8th May; please contact Ben on 07500 606740 or via email ben.duffy@westlancs.ac.uk
