This update from the WLBC press office:

'The gates were installed at the entrance to the former Westec House site in September 2016 to stop trespassers gaining access to the site outside of normal Council office operating hours (Monday –Friday 7.00am -7.00pm).

The manufacture and installation of the bespoke security gates cost around £2,000, however this will save the costs associated with dealing with trespass incidents.

They are opened and closed by the Council’s caretaker who already opens and closes the adjacent Council offices.'
