The stars will be out for a fabulous Ormskirk charity event this Christmas!

And Noel Delaney's Christmas dinner fundraiser promises to be a fabulous event, thanks to the hard work of local sports promotions entrepreneur Jim Buckley who's now on the Mayor's charity committee.

The event's being held at The Civic on Thursday 13th December - doors open at 7.00pm with a traditional three course Christmas dinner at 7.30pm with stars of the show Pete Emmett, Steve Charles and Holly Ellison.

Pete, the compere, comedian and auctioneer, burst onto the comedy scene a couple of years ago and his unique humour has seen him make rapid strides on the circuit.

He's already worked alongside the likes of Johnny Vegas, Mike Tyson, Dame Kelly Holmes and Sugar Ray Leonard, and is match day host at Everton and Liverpool football clubs along with St. Helens RLFC.

Steve Charles will be the singer and entertainer - born in Liverpool, he was brought up in a musical family with his father having his own dance band and his mother being lead singer. It’s no wonder Steve was always destined for centre stage - he's an exceptional singer with a charming charismatic personality and a stage presence to match!

During his singing career, Steve's been lucky to work alongside many headline performers including the famous Drifters, Sir Cliff Richard, Gerry Marsden, Joe Brown, Jimmy James, Edwin Starr, Billy Ocean, and The Real Thing to name but a few. Steve has his own unique style, interacting with his audience which brings them into the performance.

Steve has gone on to perform in many theatres across the country and even travels across Europe and the Atlantic. With his excellent choice of songs, be it swing from crooners Frank Sinatra or Michael Buble, to Soul & Motown classics.

Holly Ellison - as seen on ITV's The Voice 2018 - turned heads ... and made Will.i.am turn in just seconds!

She's an upbeat and energetic singer/songwriter and actress; in 2015 Holly received a 1st class BA hons degree in Popular Music from the prestigious LIPA, and won The Beatles Prize Award for best singer/ song writer and was chosen to have a one to one songwriting session with Sir Paul McCartney.

Recent projects as well as being on The ITV show, she has been busy in the studio writing and collaborating with producers and songwriters and has been working on her original music. From 14th December Holly is one of the stars of The Echo Arena Christmas pantomime.
