A busy roundabout at the entrance to Burscough has been branded a disgrace as it's been left to grow - and go - wild.
The irony’s not been lost on Barry Critchley of Halsall - after all it’s sponsored by the World Wildlife Trust at Martin Mere - but he is convinced that a few of the local businesses on the thriving Ringtail Retail Park could dip their hands in their pockets to perhaps tidy it up and then adopt it.
It's about six months since it was last cut; the higher the grass and weeds grow the more of a safety hazard the roundabout is.
