Lathom Park Trust held its AGM at Briars Hall recently with guests of honour Lord and Lady Derby, Lord Derby being the Patron of the Trust.

Following the AGM, Paul Kenyon, Chairman, gave an illustrated talk on the life of Charlotte De La Tremoille, Countess of Derby, wife of James 7th Earl of Derby, who gallantly defended Lathom House during the first siege of Lathom from Parliamentarian forces in 1644, during the English civil war.
