It was a real red letter day for Ormskirk yesterday as QLocal reporter Roger Blaxall discovered that one of the town's most famous pubs has finally been sold.
Pictured in at the front of the Buck i'th Vine is Adam Mitty of Liverpool’s Mitty Group that’s bought the pub - and will be revealing its exciting plans for the heritage building soon.
It was on the market for over 18 months with Burscough’s Mike McCombe of ‘Hop Vine’ fame originally interested. And it hit the headlines for all the wrong reasons after local man Tim Reynolds was taken to Court after an LFRS investigation into its illegal use for student housing: https://www.qlocal.co.uk/ormskirk/new...e-55013192.htm
But after spending half an hour with Adam yesterday lunchtime it's clear that there's a much brighter future for The Buck - all will be revealed soon on QLocal Ormskirk!
And the good news continues on Burscough Street which according to council footfall figures is busier than ever with the opening of a number of new shops including a boutique dress shop, new barbers and a Lancashire themed cafe all great news for the town centre!

fantastic news for ormskirk , nice to see new buisnesses opening up burscough street just needs a bit of a tidy up now from the council as the pavment is looking worn and uneven , all the new shops spend a lot of money making the premises look good so the street should be made to look the same , aughton strret looks good but then bursgough street looks shabby
