    Toby jugs

O.k john so you dont know much about bells..

Here's something i am sure you could tell me about.

It's a toby jug , willow pattern jacket , dating from around 1850's??

I am nearly sure this is an origonal victorian one and not a 1920's copy.,,i have seen the repro's before and certain things stick out like a sore thumb.

    Whats your opinion john....

    Hi

    It is made by Allerton's

    C 1920 to 1930

You will find them with back stamps and with out.

They seemed to specialize in the dumpy shape and make them in sets of 5.

I also have seen a teapot

The flowing blue is the give away (flow blue)
