Police are appealing for information about a number of items in connection with a burglary investigation in the Preston area.

Detectives want to trace the owners of suspected stolen property recovered from an address in Ashton on November 28.

The items were found after an investigation into the thefts of a mobile phone, television and car from an 80-year-old man’s address in the Lightfoot Lane area of Fulwood on November 27.

Following further enquiries a man was later arrested and charged by police.

Det Con Warren Gibson of Preston Police said: “As a result of this investigation we have recovered a number of items which we believe to be the proceeds of criminal offences.

“We’d like to ask members of the public, especially those in the Ashton and Bamber Bridge areas of Preston, to check their sheds and garages to see if they’ve also been a victim of crime.

“If you recognise the items pictured, please get in touch.”
