During the Easter school holidays, make a day of it in Preston and join the hunt for our four giant, hand-painted eggs. Sorry to disappoint, but they're not made of chocolate!

Check social media for clues, and remember the eggs will be in different locations every few days.

Pose with the #PrestonEgg at the location you find for the chance to win a prize. Don’t just stop there – try and find the other three giant eggs!

The more eggs you pose for photos with, you could win bigger and better prizes; just use #PrestonEgg on social media.
Each egg is 2 metres high, so they'll be hard to miss, and have been created and hand-painted by local artist, Kerith Ogden.
The giant egg hunt culminates at the traditional Egg Rolling on Easter Monday at Avenham & Miller Parks, where you can see all four giant eggs together for the first time.
Councillor Peter Kelly, Cabinet member for leisure and culture, said:
“I’ve had a sneaky look at these giant eggs and they’re beautiful.
“It will be a great family activity in the city centre, so get involved and try to solve the clues. I can assure you it’ll be worth it!”
