Qlocal gets results.
Broken light fixed after 2 months.
One resident fell and ended up in A and E.
After Qlocal highlighted the appalling inadequacy's of Sefton Council and the empty promises of the Ward Councillors over the fixing of a street light that had been broken for over two months in Warren Road it has now been fixed.
One local resident said... " thanks to Qlocal highlighting the broken light it has now been fixed. It just goes to show that these useless Councillors and their hangers on do not like bad publicity.

There's abour 15 faulty lights on Nevill St, half a dozen on The Monument and loads on the Prom, Marine Parade and the Esplanade. Sadly the local councillors seem more bothered about having their photos taken with verandahs than doing anything about them.

I've reported many of them, complained to the council about it and I've been told by Tony Dawson that the Lib Dems are aware of the issue.
They still ain't bloody fixed any of them though.
After telling the council it was impractical to use their online reporting tool as you can only report 1 at a time they told me they couldn't log the issue unless I provided the reference numbers from the lampposts. A bit difficult when it's so dark you can't see them.

As a council tax paying member of the public i think I've done enough to make the council aware of the faults.

I thought it was the councils way to save money, having around 10% of the lamposts NOT working during the night in the town centre.and promenade area ?
