Southport suffered another pre season friendly defeat today going down 1-3 to a strong Blackpool side.
Blackpool created the first chance with a good move, Max Clayton bringing a low save from goalkeeper Mark Halstead.
Ethan Jones sends a low shot wide from 20 yards as Southport work the ball well for their first attack.
Blackpool take the lead just before half-time, Kyle Vassell scoring with an angle finish from a Brad Potts through-ball.
Armand Gnanduillt adds Blackpool's second, sliding the ball home after an excellent run down the right by Bright Osayi-Samuel.
Southport have made six further changes to the team during the first 25 mintues of the second half.
Bright Osayi-Samuel rolls a penalty into the bottom right-hand corner after a foul by Jacques Kpohomouh on Jamille Matt.
Southport pull a goal back through Kaiman Anderson, following in a loose ball after a shot from a trialist was parried.
