Tobacco Jar
Over the years I have seen many Tobacco Jars but this one in particular interest me.
It is German and made in the 1870's by the Conta & Boehme factory who produced similar pieces at their factory in Possneck in Thuringia, Germany.
I have owned this jar where the man is reading the Times and the Chicago Tribune and now I have just found this on the Internet, reading the Guardian.
If any one out there has seen one of theses items with a different News Paper please let me know.
