Hi, I have owned and seen hundreds of items like this.

as you can see in your photograph the item is not crisp, not well made, mass produced, and in some cases given free by the school to the children.

It would seem each town each Mayor, each school, even companies had medals to commemorate Queens Victoria's reign. 50 years and 60 years seem to be the most common ones I have seen. Most of them are made in cheap metal, some with a red white and blue ribbons.

People do collect them but they expect to pay under £5 each.

If it was in silver under £50. In 9kt Gold under £150. The one pictured is not hall marked, it looks brass. On a good day £10, but more likely as I have said, £5 and under.
