Again the leaky roof!

Hi all, I live in a traditional brick home. I am getting troubled with the leaky roof again. I have recently repaired it with some DIY methods. But again...On inspecting, I found my gutters clogged with debris and the rainwater is finding it’s way leaking into my home. My friend suggested me not to fix the gutters by myself as it might be risky, instead, he recommended going for an emergency roof repair solutions in Toronto. I have the pieces of equipment like a ladder and a tarp, but I am not a skilled roofer. Would you give a try at this? Are there any alternatives? Share it here.

Your friend is giving you good advice you have fixed it once without success so listen to him/her and either 1, Get a professional in to fix it or 2, Move house. Getting someone from Toronto could prove expensive as the air fair alone and the weight of their tools could be astronomical. There are plenty of decent roofers in Southport.

First clean the gutters.

Our window cleaners cleared the gutters for an extra payment whilst cleaning the windows.

Use Binoculars on a rainy day to see how the rain tracks down the roof

One builder told us a leaky roof is best cured by replacing the whole section.

Another was happy to try fixing the specific small section identified with the binoculars as an out of line roof tile and replace the sealant higher up under a window.

So far so good.
