Airbag Reset lamp

Anybody out there than can reset my airbag light on my bmw e36 1997?

Doesn't that come on when the airbag has been deployed ? Have you checked the airbag is OK, otherwise I think you will have to replace it to get the light out as it's an MOT failure

In the UK and have an airbag warning light showing, your vehicle is no longer classed as roadworthy and would fail an MOT in it's current condition. So if you have an MOT coming up you will need to pay attention to this warning light and make sure it is removed before the car is tested.Which you obviously know about this.

my airbag warning light came on when my voltage regulator failed putting more voltage into the system causing the airbag to think it had gone off new regulator and light turned off by local garage for £20

The Airbag will have a date label, which I would assume, its due for renewal, they do have a limited life.
Silly question, have you disconnected the battery for a length of time?
this sometimes would work!
