Are you Gender fluid or Bigender?
Bigender: “To identify as both genders and/or to have a tendency to move between masculine and feminine gender-typed behavior depending on context, expressing a distinctly male persona and a distinctly female persona, two separate genders in one body.
Gender fluid: “Referring to a gender identity that changes with time and/or situation as opposed to a fixed sex-role or gender.
Orwell said "If there is hope, it lies in the proles." Whilst champagne socialists see diversity idealised at university, the common folk experience it first hand in their neighbour hoods.

well there are those that are definatly gender misplaced ,nature aint perfect, and so feel we have a third gender as well .in between so to speak.in my job come across every combination.whats important is the soul behind the mask where born in.that said feel theres too much attention and not acceptance being placed on those young ones before they are fully aware of their own sense of being with maturity of time.(to be unpc) a trendy influence.feel we should adopt the model of those pacific islands, that wait until adolesant development reveals their true gender assignment.even leding assignment surgeons are expressing concerns,as they are having patients on maturity of time and experience ,having issues.that said also feel for those within this angst and what must be a torment for them.so maybe we as a society need to have a more accepting attitude,to what defines us as individuals ,as opposed to sexual definement.

Read today of a teacher who faces the sack and is currently suspended for saying "thank you girls" to two girls in his class for working hard. One of the "girls" wants to be a boy and is currently "transgender" so she/he/it complained and her/his mother made a complaint and the Teachers world is caving in. He is unable to do his job until he has had a disciplinary hearing which could end in his dismissal.
I'm sorry but the time has come to stop pussyfooting around and give everyone a bl**dy good shake, kids have enough growing up to do in this topsy turvy world without their parents putting doubt in their mind. For Christ's sake let them make up their own mind when they're old enough to know what they are making up their mind about, it is too late when they have had parts removed.

I should have been born in the body of a rock star, sadly I was not. I wonder if I could get the money, women and cars that go with that lifestyle on the NHS.

I'm not even sure what to think about this. I understand LGB. Then it became 'LGBT', though I'm not sure why the 'T' was added, as the T isn't really relevant to someone's sexuality. Isn't it a gender issue?
Now there is LGBTQ+ and there is CIS, Gender Fluid, non-binary, etc etc. It is confusing, and I'm a great advocate for equality among everyone. But every time another letter is added, I'm thinking 'what now?'.
On the one hand, the whole thing seems bizarre. You're a girl or a boy. The tiny minority of people may have gender issues, but on the whole it seems pretty straightforward.
On the other hand, I don't like pigeonholing kids and forcing ideas and ideals on them. Religion, for example. I don't think ANY child should be taught religion until they are of an age to process it intelligently. Just teach a kid right from wrong and they should grow up into decent human beings. Perhaps the current backlash against men treating women as objects that they have power over stems from the gender stereotypes enforced from childhood. Girls are weak, boys are strong. Boys make decisions, girls are decoration. Etc. Maybe there is a case of ignoring gender in schools.
I don't have the answer. My immediate reaction is that it is all a bit ridiculous, but there's also part of me wondering if the world would be a better place if we didn't force conventional notions of what it is to be a girl or a boy on kids.

A human being can be any sex they chose to be within the legal framework of the time.
Personally as an atheist I will not be tied down to the biblical definition of a human being.

NO! Absolutely spot on - it's this country in general that's a joke. At a time when the world is in real danger of imploding and nation seems to be at war with nation, we in the U.K. prefer to concentrate on much larger issues, such as who touched whose knee twenty years ago and worrying about our kids' gender. As one poster has so succinctly put it - the clue is in their pants.

Transgender - ism ? is a form of body dysmorphia - a mental condition. The fact that there are just as many suicides after they go through surgery and hormone treatment, as there are before, just shows you that surgery does not address the problem - only the symptoms.
I don't mind if a boy wants to wear a dress and wig and call himself a girl. But i do mind if he wants to disfigure his body in a life changing way !
I think a lot of these issues have come from across the pond where children are forced into therapy (and medication) for the slightest deviation from normal behavior, rather than being left to be children with quirks and foibles. Many parents rely on medication and psychologists rather than actually focusing on parenting. It is easier for a parent to blame bad or odd behaviour on an illness rather than their own poor parenting. That way, they are not responsible - whatever the psychologists diagnoses, is responsible.
The reason they have so many psychological issues and definitions in the US - is that many psychiatrists there are sponsored by the big pharma companies that just want to push their products ! Many psychologists are starting to speak out against such practices - for example take a look at Dr Philip Hickey's website Behaviourism and Mental Health - it is quite interesting.
