Please can anyone tell me HOW to block phone numbers.

I assume you mean a landline?

Different carriers have different ways of helping you with this. For example, we used to be with Talk Talk, and they will give you a code which you enter when an unwanted number calls you. Enter it when the number calls you again, and it will block all future calls.

I don't know for certain, but I would think that all the other providers have similar services.

A BT line is needed for this - but it allows you to block all unwanted calls, even when they spoof/change their numbers, FREE OF CHARGE. You choose the numbers, or types of numbers, you want to block.

Got to agree, I recently purchased a quad set of the BT8500, you set it up to block or accept different types of call. It also allows you to filter calls by requiring the caller to give their name before you accept the call.
