Book of condolence
There is a book of condolence at Southport town so that people can show thier respect to the people killed and injured in the Manchester bomb attack.

Thanks for the info. My daughter's friend from Southport was in the foyer waiting to pick up her daughter when the bomb went off. Her legs caught most of the force with some nuts and bolts exploding into her. She has already had a one hour operation and had to have a six hour operation later. She has been able to move her legs, and fingers crossed - she will be alright. Her daughter came out later, and she is OK.

My thoughts are with your friends and all the other victims.
It is very difficult not to dwell on the horrific injuries and experiences suffered by the victims as reports come through of the medical accounts.
Victims will need years of medical treatment and support particularly the children traumatised by the injury or death of a parent.

Terrible injuries said , I wish her a speedy and full recovery .

Yes Hamble physical injuries you can recover from , it's the other effects that are the problem , serving in NI in the seventies I can remember some of the physiological problems people suffered from blast injuries and of course loss of limbs .
