Corbyn's Hypocrisy.
Jeremy Corbyn says on the front page of the Observer that Boris is “shaming our nation” over Iran. Is this a wind up? Let’s take a look at Jezza’s record on Iran:
•Accepted £20,000 for appearing on the Iranian state TV channel Press TV, even after the channel had filmed and broadcast a torture victim’s confession
•Agreed with a Press TV caller that Britain’s national broadcaster were “Zionist liars”
•Attended a Press TV / Khomeinist event just 11 months ago, while he was leader of the opposition, posing for photos with an extremist author
•Attended the Iranian regime’s Al-Quds Day event calling for the destruction of Israel
•Attended event during which the Iranian regime’s British representatives called for a boycott of Marks and Spencer and others in attendance chanted about gassing Tel Aviv
•Dismissed western criticism of the Iranian regime as American desire for oil: “It does not take a late night conspiracy theorist to look at the map of the region and see where oil lies, where pipelines go, where the US bases are and which countries they do not have any influence over. That alone should make anyone very wary of the attacks on Iran”
•Claimed Iran didn’t want nukes: “Iran has a civil nuclear power programme, which in law it is entitled to. This has been transformed into a nuclear weapon threat by the very power that has its own massive capacity to destroy, the USA”
Please, Jezza, tell us more about “shaming our nation”…

Oh it's from Guido? That totally fair and impartial news source?
It's hilarious watching you Daily Mail readers sling every piece of mud you can. Tories have constantly stepped on British citizens for their own gain and are rightly taking the heat from the public.
Corbyn's coming guys - don't worry!

God forbid that Corbyn the IRA sympathiser should ever become PM of our country .
The man is a traitor and a hypocrite . I've no time for a lot of the current Tory MPs but Corbyn is a disgrace to this country .

You can tell just how low Tory's natural habitat is by the amount of mud they find in the gutter
If Tories are so afraid of Corbyn, how about coming up with positive policies? Policies for progress instead of regression, policies that support the country as a whole instead of the select few, a government guiding the country in one direction rather than the infighting and divisive power struggle, it appears that Tory policy is just to rake up as much bad personal press as they possibly can, but offering nothing in alternative.
Plus of course as ever when Tory politicians or policies come under scrutiny the deflection tactics come into play, just like children who claim that someone else "started it" or someone else is "worse than me".

SF , if you are referring to my post I am not mud slinging it's a fact that Corbyn is an IRA sympathiser.
He can't even be bothered to sing the National Anthem .

Orwell said "If there is hope, it lies in the proles." Whilst champagne socialists see diversity idealised at university, the common folk experience it first hand in their neighbour hoods.

No objections to the crimes of hypocrisy listed then?

He may well have understood the aims of the IRA, that does not mean he ever supported their methods, but again is this all that Tory lovers can do? that is make personal attacks on individuals, why are you all so scared? do you really think that one man can take over? just because the Tories have no-one with any great appeal are you just frustrated.?
Personally I am more concerned with the Johnson/Gove alliance pulling the strings, or horror of horrors, actually gaining control.
By the way, there are a hell of a lot of people who can't be bothered singing our dirge of a national anthem along with the underlying worship of an alleged ruler by accident of birth, before any one gets overly agitated, that does not mean that these people are any less patriotic and supportive of our COUNTRY.

Oh he supported the IRA , and thier methods alright , this Tory isn't scared at all as I think the British people will see through Labours promises and dismiss them with horror. I've no worries that the people of this country will àccept a traitor as thier PM .
The vast majority of UK citizens sing our national anthem with pride .
But Corbyn isn't one of them .

For an unbiased fact check, I'd go to Channel 4 news, who are far more neutral than the other major channels when it comes to politics:
https://www.channel4.com/news/factch...rthern-ireland
I'm a member of the Labour party, but not a Corbynista. Given a choice I'd have Thornberry or Starmer as the next PM. However, this rabid Tory obsession with Corbyn and the IRA is ridiculous. Seriously, it has been rehashed so many times, yet is wild speculation at best.
Above all he is a pacifist. If he spoke to Sinn Fein it was in an attempt to broker a ceasefire. As did several MPs at the time, and the government and security services knew all about it. I'm certain any of the 'he attended 'insert event' where somebody said 'insert whatever' doesn't mean he agreed with whatever was said. Some random attendee could have shouted 'death to all infidels', it doesn't mean Corbyn was merrily waving an ISIS flag. Churchill said 'Jaw jaw not war war' (amazing, considered the wealth he garnered from arms) and it is true, you rarely achieve peace through fighting. You generally achieve it through communicating. There are exceptions, but in the case of Northern Ireland, it was diplomacy that ended the violence.
As for: “It does not take a late night conspiracy theorist to look at the map of the region and see where oil lies, where pipelines go, where the US bases are and which countries they do not have any influence over. That alone should make anyone very wary of the attacks on Iran”
Well...yes. That is true. WMDs in Iraq, anyone? The Saudis and Israel are pushing hard for the USA to start military action in Iran. You have to be a complete moron not to acknowledge the truth there.
As far as the National Anthem is concerned, I couldn't give a monkeys about that or the royals. As Silver Fox said, I'm not grovelling to or lauding a woman who is apparently my superior because of an accident of birth. Granted, she's done her duty admirably, but also a mega tax dodger that I have no time for. Give me 'Land of Hope and Glory' as England's anthem, a republic and a decent fair society for all.
The current government is an absolute clusterf!!k, and Corbyn is probably going to be the next PM, no matter how the Tories screech 'IRA!'. But check the facts, not whatever a Russian troll whispers in your ear.

After Brexit Corbyn PM would be a learning curve for Socialists.
Labour would have to explain to the have nots and have nothings at all
why they are poorer and less safe in this world.
As usual the next Tory Government would be voted in to rescue the country.
Corbyn and his nista's were a failed coup.
A coup only works with an element of surprise and attack.

OK let's see some hard evidence of Corbyn actively supporting the IRA, as far as traitors are concerned, we already have more than our fair share in government right now.
I would hazard a guess that our national anthem and it's message is not as popular or even well known as you believe, however each to their own, I really don't care.
Personally thoughts are not King/Queen and country, rather the country and the people of this country, for instance I have considerably more concern for the numbers of homeless families in this country than refurbing Buckingham Palace.
