Are there any Labour affiliated Unions with Tory Union Officials?

Public spending on union activities was disclosed in official figures released to MPs.
The Ministry of Justice said it paid its staff to carry out 43,208 days of trade union activity in 2008/09. The estimated total salary cost to the taxpayer was £6.5 million."

So the tax payer funds Union leaders salaries and working people fund Union bosses golden goodbyes?
The Tax payer doesn't fund any Union Leader, Unions are funded by members subscriptions.

If you really want to talk about WASTING money this Government has just trumped stupidity in a way you could not think of for a comedy show.
In 1941 a ship carrying Silver Bullion from India to the UK was sunk by a U-boat. In 2011 the ship was located and a contract was given to a company to raise the silver. They paid the Government £6million and did the work. Another firm took the Government to court claiming the procurement system the Tory Government used was unfair and they were awarded £15million from the UK Government so WE are £9 million down on a deal that was a clear profit for doing Zilch Zero Nicht Nowt. Only this bunch of CLOWNS could mess this up. PLEASE stop bigging up these so called Elitist Public School Educated bunch of bl**dy half wits.

"......Several ministries said they effectively employ full-time union representatives at public expense.
Mark Wallace of the Taxpayers’ Alliance said union representatives should not get public money for their union work.
He said: “There is no reason why taxpayers should subsidise the trade unions at all, and this multi-million pound bill must be stopped. The unions are explicitly political organisations, and they should make do with what money they can raise from their members.
“Many taxpayers will be horrified to learn that their money is being used to fund the unions and their big-state, high tax message. It is bad enough that they are issuing threats of strike action, but having to pay for the people organising the strikes adds insult to injury.”

The case was found in favour of a Scottish company.

Still at least it was recoverable from Holyroods ransom note.

Whoops! Tories reducing inequality? How will they explain that to their supporters?

I'm surprised you still talk of the loony left. Let's think about what the Conservatives have achieved in the last two years...
First Cameron crashes out of the EU without wanting to and then May calls an unnecessary election to get rid of her pesky parliamentary majority. I think it's the Ridiculous Right we are dealing with here.

But I dont particularlly like the """"conservatives"""" (they arent actually conservatives) either. The idea in society that if you dont like labour you must like the conservatives or vice versa is pretty sad.

Did the Labour leader ever say that he would deal with the issue of student debt, though?
I don't remember him ever saying that?

Most on here are fairly open as to where their political loyalties lie, this doesn't mean that they follow that party like sheep, but do tell which political party most suits your thoughts and ideas?

Admire your support of lost causes, incidentally Brexit hasn't happened yet and many people are already uneasy about the way things are going.

Probably something to do with the constant and mostly unfounded negative stories about it in the media. I expect that the negotiations will go nowhere and there will be a second refurendum with the option of remaining in the EU or accepting a bad deal. Just like the whole Lisbon Treaty thing for Ireland.
