D OF E Volunteer work

Hi My daughter and her friend are doing there D of E and needs to find some volunteer work ,she 14 does anyone know of anywhere she may volunteer at . I have asked at her local church to help at Rainbows but they already have someone.

Hi MillyDilly, our sports club are always looking for volunteers. We've had volunteers before who have been on their D of E, think the youngest was possibly 15 but age matters less than attitude. We are at Southport college sports hall on Sunday mornings, 10-12 is mixed sports 12-1 is football. We have a group of athletes all with learning disabilities who partake in sports across the country. Ten of whom will be representing the North West at the Special Olympic Games 2017 - Sheffield. If they are interested then please ask them to pop down to the sports hall or private message myself thanks.
