    News Does Southport need a brothel

    With so many empty shops and offices is it time to turn one of them into a massage parlour or a brothel?

    There are a few dotted about the town described loosely as 'massage parlours' and I think Red at Crowland Street was probably the first 'official' one.

    I can understand the potential demand for a massage parlour but not sure about the brothel, don't think anyone eats broth any more in Southport.

    As I understand it, an actual brothel wouldn't be legal. Technically you can only have one girl working at a time on the premises.
    Whereas a true brothel has multiple choice available.

    *Next best option would be anchoring a foreign-flag ex-cruise ship 12 miles offshore i.e. outside British territorial waters. Run a passenger launch service from Liverpool...Sky's the limit then, girls galore, duty-free cigs and booze, gambling, etc. 24/7 tax-free shopping, no vat, no licenses required!
